Gordy entered via animal control with no history known. He obviously had received good care prior to entry. This is a very social, enthusiastic and loving big pup who likes everyone he meets. He plays nicely with other dogs. He definitely has the head and ears of a German Shepherd dog and possibly the rest of him is Labrador retriever. Whatever his genetics, he is a very special guy who would make a good choice for any family wanting a fairly large dog. Gordy was adopted and about a year later ended up in an animal facility not far from Salem. The owner had given him to someone and that someone's phone number and address were no longer good, thus Gordy returned to the shelter. He is a large, handsome and tremendously nice dog who doesn't seem to hold it against people that he has been treated so irresponsiblel, though he is hoping for a forever home this time around. ;Born about Jan. xxxx
