Kaiser was apparently abandoned by the owner, but we have no meaningful background information as to how or why this happened as he entered via animal control. Kaiser was in good condition and already neutered at the time of entry other than he favors the right front leg, determined to be an old injury. He ultimately had surgery and did very well other than he does favor that leg and it is possible at osme point in the future amputation will be required. He is a very large and very handsome dog, appearing to be a mixture of German shepherd dog and blue heeler. He is gentle, friendly, cooperative and does well with other dogs, no matter what the size or gender. For someone wanting a large canine companion out of the puppy range, Kaiser would be a good choice. You have to meet him to really comprehend. He was returned from an adoptive home because of the resident dogs' inability to accept him.
